This weekend course walks the students through every decision needed to open a private practice. It starts by laying the groundwork, a step most of us forget or don’t know to do (mission, best-fit client, etc.). It then moves into the nitty-gritty of the decisions most of us actually start with (location, name, rates, hours etc.). This leads naturally to developing a marketing plan specific to each practice. We wrap up by doing some long-range planning and identifying places for support. Students will draw from their brains, their hearts, their imaginations, and their peers to design a practice that is specific to their dreams and a practice that will take care of them.
